On Alchemy
Alchemy is an old concept with parallels in many different cultures. The classic alchemical pursuits in myths and legends are the turning of lead to gold, and pursuit of the philosopher's stone, which grants eternal life. While we may not be granting eternal life, we do like to embody the concept of alchemy which involves changing something and making it more useful or valuable. We find humble plant medicines that are effective, and using a little bit of “Alchemy” in the kitchen, we turn them into products that can be used easily.
We are always trying to improve, and to see the value in every situation in life. An Alchemist can turn an unfortunate experience into a learning lesson, and make the most out of what is available. A plant is an alchemist when it turns sunlight, carbon dioxide, and soil into food, oxygen and medicine, and this is what makes working with plants so rewarding. By allying with these plant alchemists, we can turn the basic elemental forces into potent facilitators of healing and nourishment.
So tune into your inner alchemist with us and help improve what is around you by supporting local, sustainable businesses and regenerative farming practices. Together, we can transmute the bad into the good, and make the world a better place for everyone.
